Never think that anyone actually had a tape of it.
But yes,it's me :(

Don't worry-it looked worse than it is.

It'll be fine again in a few weeks :)

But one thing is for sure-this winther i'm putting in abs system from e46m3!

good luck with the repairs and keep us updated about the brakes. I wanted to do the same upgrade to boxter brakes during this winter.

sorry if you was trying to keep this quiet.

I have smashed up on that corner many a time - in Grand Turismo :)

glad to see you are ok and tbh it didn't look like a big impact.

So what happened exactly? it looks like you locked up the rears before your front?

Can't blame nobody but myself on this one,but i'm pretty sure I would be fine if abs.
Missed breaking point and locked to fast together with not too good tires etc.

Will be back better prepared next year :)

Very sad to hear about this and see! Good to know you escaped unharmed and the damage is repairable. Considering the conditions, I expect this has more to do with tyres than lack of ABS, but that will always help. Pity we didn't meet, we were no more than 1 or 2 miles apart from each other.

The last trip this season didn't exactly go as I wanted:)

Had a great trip til Nurburg and this years GP.
On turistenfarten It all got bad.

As I have more or less modified most of the car to make the MPower package to work, I also have modified the brakes to fit Calipers from Porsche.
The biggest problem with bigger rear brakes is bias-the balance.
I used alot of time to fine adjust the bias control to decrease the rear brake.
In the end I was very satisfied, and all the passengers was really impressed by the brakes and how good balanced it was.
It stopped direct without any hassle on tracks here in Norway.

Until I met Nuerburgring...

In the Kallenhard I was a little out of brake line,it is going very downhill into a right 60-70 degree corner.
When turning in I was still on the brake- the right rear wheel locked up straight away making the car go out of control in a spin.
I hit the barrier and game over.

Luckily the car is street legal and engine etc is approved.
The ring is a public tollroad open for all and insurance covered the damage.

The car went to the best bodyshop in my area to get fixed.

They changed the rear and right corner. Painted both sides etc.
The car turned up better than it was before, new paint in the trunk and everything.
Luckily the motorsport side stripes was still available.

I still need to fix the front bbs,but hoping a company can do it this winter.

So now I know the balance of the brakes was not good enough for the ring. What to do?
Yes- a MK60 abs system from a e46m3.
It will bias the brakes perfect and also help me when I need it.
It will have the CSL software with MTrack mode and DSC feature that will help if under/over steering.

I got this in the garage the other day.

Complete electrical system out of an e46m3

Then I just had to start taking off what I really wanted-the MK60 system.

Thanks for looking. Happy winter and good luck with all modifications to all.

You copied the URL of the pics, at dropbox, into the code. Doesn't work. You should get the url of the pic itselve.
