323 motor

Post by Wendy depoortere »

Hey,

I am overhauling my engine and looking for pistons for my 323i. These must be 0.25 or 0.5 larger than standard size. Someone who can help me with old stock because these are no longer available from BMW itself. Or someone who knows a solition?
A big thank you in advance.

I too was looking for these oversize pistons but they are not available anywhere. You can have a set made by Ireland engineering at a cost of about $900us.
In the end I bought an old stock reconditioned engine from Germany which had NOS oversize pistons fitted. The seller has more engines available, however with standard size pistons, new rings etc. Here's a link to his listing

just found these on eBay. They are actually e30 pistons and have a higher compression ratio.
