Better stop or I'll ban you, your E21 looks way too good, and in my favorite color as well!

Re: BMW E21 323i Sydney Australia
Hello Members,
Just a quick update on car. I have converted the car to 5 speed manual transmission, Recaro LS front seats and factory sports steering wheel. I have also purchased some beautiful BBS Mahle 15x7 et13 and BBS front spoiler for the E21. I can not wait to have these items added to the car. I will update with pictures very soon. However I do have one question and it relates to H&R lowering springs for my E21. I have recently upgraded my suspension on the car. I am now running with Bilstein B6 front and back and also gone with H&R lowering springs. This is a combination which is very common amongst owners on this forum. I believe Jeroen is using this set up as well. The car handles much better than before.
After the upgrade I noticed the rear spring sit slightly higher than the fronts by at least 1.5cm. Is this common and normal? I also noticed if I have passengers in the rear the car stance looks normal.
Just for reference I was looking closely at Gönk's beautiful BMW E21 323i Edition S and it too seems to sit slightly higher at the back. Please note his car is running 15x7 rims which do fill the wheel archers than my 13inch factory turbine alloy rims.
Please let me know your thoughts.
Before ( factory springs )
After (H&R springs)

Nice upgrades and pics! As for the difference in height, perhaps the Bilstein shocks have different height settings? The lower ring can be adjusted (moved). As the rear suspension is easy to remove you may want to remove both rear struts and compare. Just jack up the rear, for example under the diff, abt 4" will prolly be enough, then the car rests on the jack and you can remove both rear struts.

I looked several times at the pictures before/after and something is not right, then I realized - MUDFLAPS!
keep it that way!
keep it that way!
Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car. Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far you take the wall with you.

Wow, good to see you're back then. If I were to order a new E21 today this is what it would look like, love that color and the wheels go very well with the car. Undecided on the mudflaps though
But hey this is nitpicking central... the 323i grill logo is located 1 or 2 rows too far to the bottom and your high beams could do with 30 minutes in the dishwasher. Just so you know why you didn't come here for a while

Hello
Well it has been a while, and I have purchased a BMW e21 JPS 323i with all the goodies, here in Australia . Build number 84. Stay tuned. Should I start a new build or stay or keep this old one going.
Thoughts ?
cheers
John Paul
