Hi White car was a 1977 320 4 cylinder car with blue cloth interior , I put blue stripes down the car and had it partially resprayed , it was fairly clean apart from the back bumper which I should have really replaced . The cars were cheap back then I payed about £500 for the car and drove it from Carlisle to Nottingham for a few months whilst working down there , never missed a beat .
Black car was a 320 6 cylinder 5 speed manual , different car as it had a better engine and was much quicker , as with most of them it tried to spin with having a light back end , I put a couple of concrete flags in the back of it to make it a bit more planted . This replaced a Ford Xr3i which was a rust bucket on wheels , did about 10k in the car and sold it for what I payed for it a year later , Blue car was also with me at the same time but with it only being a 316 with the twin headlight conversion from factory it looked the part but was a bit slow , eventually I sold it with alley cat 13" wheels which dropped the car by about 6 " and made it look much better , I wish I had kept it !
Green car was a mad purchase about 3 years later it was a money pit needing extensive welding and a viscous fan , radiator leak , tram lining , sold it to make way for a Honda Prelude 2.0 C reg , followed by a H reg prelude 2.0 , i also bought a Jensen Healey or 3 to restore but along came the kids .
I also had a red e21 in between the others but havent got any pictures . I have always had a BMW over the last 34 years but tended to go for the X5 s E53 and now a F15 , wife has also been swayed to BMW s with a X1 , Active tourer , gran tourer . A porsche has also crept into the garage but that followed a bad experience with a Z4 E89 3.0 that decided it didnt like its diff .
