Just like No 19 buses.................

you wait all day for 1 and then 2 come along at once!

This like a much more expensive proposition @ £30k

doesn't say if it is a 3.5 or 3.5S

If original Alpina it's called 3.5S if in M3 shell. But will it be original? And not 30 produced as per the ad but 62 pcs, still rare.

I agree that you do need to do your homework on these cars!

am slightly suspicious that there are no photos of the all important Alpina Chassis plate/no- so that we may see whether the cars are on the Alpina Archive Register!

With cars like these, always have the VIN checked by both Alpina if the chassis is a match, and by the Alpina Club (Alpinaclub.com) if this isn't a wrecked example (I know at least one crashed badly and one burned). You always need Alpina VIN and original chassis VIN from BMW.
