looks like a man with too much money to throw around, but if youve got it, nice restore though, apart from theres not many orignal parts left.

Nuga where did you buy new pistons for the rear brakle callipers? Was it BMW or W&N?

Actually I brought them from local generic parts dealer. It took them more than 5 months to arrive
Next time I'll go and visit BMW dealer

Maybe it seems that I use a lot of new parts... well I use a new part if it is unreasonable or impossible to restore old one. In cases where it is possible to refurbish a existing part to look and function as a new one, I'll definetly do that.

For example these exhaust manifolds:

after sandblasting (left one):

additionally cleaned with rotating wirebrush:

covered with ceramic header paint:

...and the result 8)

Yesterday I received new caliper pistons from a local part store, same brand as yours. Thanks for reply.

And speaking of new parts. I also change lots of parts for new and I think it's good. That's the only way to have that new car feel after restoration. And since Nuga is using mostly genuine BMW parts there is no problem with oryginality.

That is awesome, you could put that car in a museum when it's done. It would actually be a pity to drive it and make it look worn again :? You should give it to me, I promise I won't drive it
