I never drove it but it ran, The idle was quite lumpy

very when at idle, until it was fully warmed up it would be on the verge of dying without a bit of throttle

Oh rite so the idle speed has to be raised then as I'm fitting one in my e21 323i

Im not sure , thats exactly what i did to get it to run a bit better though.
maybe the kjet needs to be adjusted

Yeah will do pal. So did you not drive it then with that cam? Just wanna know what it felt like compared to a stock 323i

No never got to drive it as the clutch master was shot.

Oh yeah seen that, and with it being modified I think there will be a big different compared to stock, back in the 80's we had loads of 323i's, best one was the 1979 BMW 323i, that thing was fast! Used just about beat an early high compression e30 325i D reg that a friend had at the time. But then destroyed that engine I think 1988 and bought a brand new engine from coopers leicester at a cost of £2000 but the brand new engine was no way near as fast as the old one! I'm building a tribute car just like that now same colour and everything! Will be posting soon!

Nice, thats what mine is a bit of a tribute to my dads old 323 he got it when i was 7 and ive been hooked
