Mark's 316 M52/2.8 + Cat cams & Jenvey ITB's

Post by e21-Mark »

I found this today, just a couple of miles down the road.

Image

The number of the parking space is a clue.

Image

Maybe 325 would be more accurate?

Image

Mint bodywork having been fully restored.

Image

Absolutely rust free

Image

Image

Spax adjustable suspension and lowered 60mm all round. Discs are all drilled and vented. 2.5 conversion. 14 Alpina rims

Glad I never bought that M5.

Yep, battery was moved.

I thought it was Henna myself. I think it looks a bit orange as the sunlight was going when I took the pictures. It's in lovely condition though.

In that case I'd buy her @ 2500 and keep the Baur pretty much stock!

I don't know what you mean?

2 people have bought it and left deposits but then couldn't raise the rest of the money. As a result I got it for a fair bit less. It's actually had bundles of cash spent on it and even the brakes are all uprated.

I'm not sure really. I might if I was offered a good price and it was going to go to someone who'd look after it. I'd like to be able to keep it really though and carry out the conversion I have planned etc. In reality I don't think I would be able to sell it for enough. I certainly wouldn't just let it go for peanuts.

Dude!!! Congratulations, great car!! Seems loads has been done on it too, I think I've seen that car a couple of times parked outside a house on the A3.. is it the same one? How many Henna Red 323's can there be in the Kingston area!?!

Really happy for you, looks like a minter.

What a find! Swap the wheels and sell the Baur, doesn't seem much point in spending £3k on that to get it where you want it when this one has had all the work done already.
