Thanks for the well-wishes. Getting better really fast. Going back to work soon and feeling great other than a little fatigue.

Hi!

Saw on some pictures on your website that you have Supersprint exhaust on your car (since I also have it on my car), you should hold on to them, they are very rare!
Last time I checked their homepage (about a year ago), the middle, left and right rear muffler was about 2000€ (about $2300)!
When I looked today, the system with four pipes are no longer available.

Also saw on your engine restoration that you have the old style cam belt gear wheel and cam belt gear wheel for the intermediate shaft.
These are from pressed sheet metal and can deform over time. Had these myself and they started to get smaller (diameter wise so to speak) on the outside (towards the radiator) which meant the cam belt started to wander outwards and rub against the cam belt cover which isn't good, glad I caught that in time on my car :)

When you buy new cam belt gear wheels you get solid steel wheels, that can not change shape.

The old and new "wheels" can be seen here: http://www.mye28.com/viewtopic.php?t=113757

It is definitely advised to upgrade to the new style with the rounded teeth. More durable and more quiet. Was a mandatory update at the dealer back in the 1980's but every now and then a car pops up that managed to miss out on that.
