Not yet Jeffrey, still a couple of jobs for the car - a new stainless exhaust (I ripped my new steel one in the car park ) and a new dashboard and heater control panel, which Nas will help me fit!

Hey Reck, any pictures of your new wheels on the car?
I've just got a new set and they're similar spec, although 7" at the front.
I'm wondering what the tyre sizes look like?

Good afternoon all! It's been about 8 years since I last logged in, glad to see my account is still active.
Due to some life changes my car has been in storage for about 8 years or so. It was started and run occasionally in that time but only for a few minutes. I've taken it out of storage this weekend and had trailered to a garage for a few things;
* Fit new fuel tanks
* Replace all window rubbers and door seals
* Fit soundproofing and new carpet
* New powerflow exhaust
* Tidy up some bits of bodywork
* Small amount of welding to chassis rails underneath
* Fit new dashboard and heater controls
* Fit new rims per previous posts
Hopefully we will be back on the road in just a few weeks!

Forum told me there was an update so logged in to see what was up. Hope you get the car up and running soon.

Hello mate! How are things?? Hope you and the family are all doing well. I often think about you when I drive past Crumpsall.

Not there any more - an almost career ending dispute with management that led to a year off work. Very long sad story. Am now in Oldham.
Family growing like mad, three kids youngest 12 now, eldest wants a car next year.

Oldham Royal? That's where I was born. Hope they're treating you better. Still very grateful for the excellent treatment you gave my (now ex!) partner in Crumpsall A+E in a time of need. Glad to hear family are doing well.
