what intrigues me is the fact that there are 2 E21s in there! Is the other one an Alpina as well? I only ask as I can't imagine it is cost effective to do all that work if it is not?

Not only 2. ;-) there are more of them there. Jeremy has an Alpina also and a 323. The one on the photo is a 323 RHD.

Just in anticipation of new updates on the progress of the Alpina `n, so getting the best of the wait. So today as it was nice weather, it was nice to get a little tour out with the 323. My daughter was with me, she's become a bit more into the BMW community for her little trip to London a few weeks ago. There she met a friend of mine. Mark Brown, known as E21 Mark on various forums and had a little tour and ride with a 2002 tii around London. Now she's back and vant join the meetings in England and the Netherlands. And to meet Mark again. So we ran a trip from Oslo to Tjøme to buy sausage. Was a little trip to Paul and looked at how it went with his car. He gets in and starts to see the end of the welding job. Can not wait.

Hope it gave you some inspiration to finish.

Got stopped and taken some pictures on BP `n which is slightly older than the car

Now it may look as if it ran past me, but they are placed in the wrong order. Poor excuse for being a grandfather with his hat out on Sunday, but it is fact. I like, in spite of age and grandfather status, continued to wind down the window and enter low gear in tunnels.

Photos from Maren's London tour with Mark.

The case of the journey to London was that Maren's just become 17. Traveled to London alone to visit some friends who were on the trip there. Unidirectional Billet and 100 euro in her pocket. Smart. And Dad let her do it. Mom knows nothing. I did not let her go if I did not had a backup plan, but Mark settled and she had a nice tour. A bit cranky mom when she got home, but things will work out.

Dear Lars
Quite by chance my guys have been working on a pair of Alfa Spiders from the 70's/80's

And the brake callipers on the Alfa are exactly the same as Herman's- I was freeing up Herman's calliper last night- will photo later
Clearly the discs and pads are not up to Alpina standard on the Alfa- but the Callipers are an ATE item apparently
