Today i rebuild the seams and welded on the part with the hole (i dont know what this is?) - Then i test the fitting accuracy of the inside wheel house - perfect!!!

Looks perfect, indeed. That hole is a factory transport thing, or something like that. This one is with an angle, the left side is straight.

Oh good to know. I wondered that this side had angle and the other side is straight. Then it is okay and i did it right. At First i want to weld it straight.

Yesterday i welded in the inner roadhouse. My weldingpoints getting better and better
Then i test how the outer wheelhouse fits!

Since i'm not a e21 expert, could somebody explain the function of the tube running from the backseat to the top of the left wheel arch?

The tank breathing hose goes there. The filter is placed at the end of the tube on top.
