To keep the story of our BMW complete some minor updates.

At the beginning i was driving with a weber 38 DGMS carb and now the original solex is active, I have restored it in 2014 and placed after the suspension refurbishment.

This is what 30 years of Italian sand looks like.

Everything cleaned and ultrasonic cleaned. Ready for assembly.

After a couple of years driving with it even I decided it was time to get the car a bit lower so the orginal springs had to go and Eibach was placed.

The last updates are that the car now has restored 15 inch BBS Mahle wheels (6J front and 7J back).

Time to update this. It had been 6 years already.

Car is doing great but there is one big upgrade.

I was able to buy a genuine VGS-set for the 320/6. First job was refurbishing the set of weber IDF carbs.

All new seals, bearings etc.

After installing we needed to adjust the carbs. If you know what to do then it is not that difficult.

Now the search has started to find the airfilterhousing which was part of the set. Ofcourse everything can be build and I started already but if someone knows where to find an original then please respond.

Example of the airfilterhousing:
