It would probably break for more but it's too good for that.

Hi mark.
In pic I can see smoke from exhaust.
Meaning car is running. What happened to engine.
Is this the 1 from retro-bmw
Cheers

Unfortunately it was sold before I got to know about it. I've no idea about any connection to retro-bmw but I can ask?

This looks like a T1 to me with T2 body kit. The rear lights tell you that this is not a T2.

Just needs one outer sill. The scuttle, battery tray etc are all good. Added to which the interior & LSD alone almost justify the price.

Has anyone removed the rear door cards to check the inner arches. The outer arches may look solid but you really need to remove the door cards. The interior is okay but I think the drivers seat isn't great, the rear headrest don't look original and the passenger seat needs colouring. A leather drivers recaro seat won't be cheap. T1's are fetching decent money but by the time you return this car to original spec, have an engine and gearbox fitted, sort the interior out, get the welding done and then depending on the paint work quality, I think you can pick up a good T1 for around 2.5-3k. You have to ask I guess why someone choose to take the high compression M20 from it instead of restoring the car. There are plenty of High Compression engines available without stripping it from a T1

In my opinion this will never be a sport as you dont have original engine/box.
Cars like these are best to be original.
Thanks Mark.
if anyone else hears of 1

So still looking
