Fritz bits manufacture and sell sump guards for the e21 for there m50 conversions, they are doing loads at the momment.

well, for all people doing a m50 conversion with the rev meter not working:

this is how to mod your meter

the meter is made with a SAK215, changed the inlet by removing R1, R2, C5, ZD1 vand putting in a R of 8,2K.

doesnt matter, just take of the parts en replace it with the other :P

the e21 rev meter is very simple, so also easy to fix (but i had it done by a very experienced guy)

i start my m50 swap on the werkend and this is a good thread to learn from. so many thanks for posting the schematic for the rev meter, i thought this might be a problem.

how did you solve the speedo issue?
