Nja, maybe better not to think of it too much. After the road piracy yesterday of the crazy swedes, I'm happy that I and my car survived :D

Today I began to cut out the rusty Areas on the right enginebeam. There is too much rust - so I decided to change the whole beam. After cutting out i also decided to Change the left one also. So i ordered two new beams today :whistle

I think I have this spot to investigate further on my car, but not before winter! I shall watch with interest. It's great that threads like this give an almost assembly line idea of how the car is constructed.

First side is done! And i did some rust converter (Fertan) into the folds of the front Panel

Yesterday i cut out the other side - it wasn´t realy rusty anymore but done ist done!

The new part from BMW isn´t welded together?!?! Before i install the new part i have to weld it together :hammer

Today i welded the frontbeam together and did some primer on the inside! I also rebuild the brakepipeholder with new srewshells.
