I Really like the way you weld/repair the rust, a true craftsman.
You remind me of my dad, who works the same way.

Your car is very rusty, thats to bad.

Keep up the nice work!

Thanks for the nice words. I do my best by doing all by my self.

I dont think that my e21 has much rust. I saw much more rust on some other e21´s. My e21 has the same rustholes like all others but not so extreme

I think the way you repair your body it doesn't matter how rusty it is, your doing it the way it should.
I really like your work, reading your topic for the third time and i understand the pain when youre tearing apart the body and find more rust.

Most people are giving up half way, your doing it the right way!
Almost every (old) car i owned, the welding/cutting was awfuly done, most people f*** there car up more then they repair it.

Every friday´s session:

Cut the original holes again in an welded back this small part on the wheelhouse! After that i grinded the hole trunk and did some primer on it!

After drying i injekted the folds with Owatrol Oil - next time i will put the sealent on

(Which paintstubbles are better to put back? The original ones are not longer available! :nah )

And last i welded back the window Frame
