God this must be really getting annoying. It actually puts pressure on pristine because of the wait it actually has to be perfect in every single way seeing as it's been two years nearly.

Just to nip this in the bud and stop folk reading between the lines and getting it wrong. I should have included a > with the above comment, as it was meant as a lighthearted joke.

I have certainly never said or suggested there is a problem with Mick's work. Quite the opposite in fact, as I've been fortunate enough to have several cars painted and/or built there and the standard has always been extremely high. I have also suggested him to others for the same reason. I may be biased (obviously, as it's my car) but I am 100% confident that the end result will be worth the wait.
Neither Mick or myself envisaged this build taking so long and there have been delays that were not our fault and/or couldn't be foreseen. (My budget has nothing to do with it) Yes, I am disappointed that it has taken so much longer than expected, but that's just the way it is. I also need to remind myself of the extent to which Mick has gone, to improve upon what was a base model 316, as much of this stuff is out of sight and easily forgotten, such as the renewal and redesign of the whole braking system in conjunction with WMS.

Anyway, I'm REALLY looking forward to having my E21 back as a daily driver and enjoying everything that's been done. :D

I like Micks work, he does a fantastic job but id have thought as you plug his business and give him work then at least make more of an effort on your car?

im sure it will be an excellent job - but worth a 2 year wait? no way.

Go and have a look. I'm sure he'd show you and have a chat about your own car. Workshop is at SS4 2AR in Essex.

Myself having no question about micks work having seen it firsthand at his workshop, I think my original question is still valid

Sharknose 2015 Mark?? e30 m3's aren't allowed in as I saw last year lol, would be good to have a few or even a lot of UK sharks convoy over

E30's not a sharknose but I love the convoy idea. It is time for a UK trip after a couple of years already, that will most likely be Goodwood Revival 15. Was planning for this year but other stuff got in the way.

Yeah, I'd definitely be up for going if MIB is finished. I finally sorted my passport, so no reason not to go. :thumbsup

Maybe use sharknose as a deadline to get the car done??

Jeroen if there is a convoy coming over here then we should definatly make something of it
