No. It's had new rack, changed CWP in diff, re positioned fuse board, altered rad, concealed all wiring, single wiper conversion, re positioned fuse board and fabricated false floor with zeus fasteners amongst other things. Also made a start on body prep' as obviously Mick will be wanting to make certain the paint is as good as it gets. Granted it's taking much longer than I'd hoped but the level of workmanship is really high and spoke for itself seeing it in the metal.

Mainly, yes. It's been apart and reassembled so many times now, but is finally together for good. There is still plenty to do but the list is definitely much, much shorter.

I don't think the last outer coats had been done, at that point, as the arches had a lot of work in flaring and rolling them. Obviously the whole of the outside will be done though.

Final bits of hardware were painted yesterday. Also drilled the rear strut brace and battery mount, so the battery could be secured properly.

Today it's all about getting the body ready for final paint tomorrow.

Glad to see more work done to the e21! Hopefully it will be out and about this summer, lol, at a show in the south. Cheers

Nice rear brace, think I will be copying that for the e12.

Is the battery mounted off the floor just for access to the diff bolts?

Yes, it was the easiest option/solution.

Unfortunately, for whatever reason my car wasn't painted. As a result we're now into the 3rd year of the build. Had I foreseen it taking so long I doubt I'd have bothered.

Anyway, Happy 2015 guys.
