got my car on the road today sooooooo good to drive it again after nearly 5 months
got loads to do to it over the next few weeks so will put some pics up as i go
first thing will be a good clean inside and out then painting all my trim and bumpers(again)
my pas rack is leaking so im getting that refurbed.then probably going to swap my brown interior
out for my black one after ive had a go at dyeing my spare carpet black.when this is done i want
to get to some shows to see more e21s in the metal
and my more long term list is to fit my manual conversion and my stainless exhaust system
i love owning an e21 as there is always something to do :D

ive been driving my car as my daily driver for a year solid now so thought an update was needed.
it hasnt let me down once over the last year apart from a blown bulb in the fuel gauge wich was pleasing
however the bodywork has suffered a bit.both my rear arches have split open due to some shody past repairs
(not by me) and lots of other rot has started to come through the paint.all the black trim needs doing again
as it getting chipped in places and my wheels have taken the full force this winter.the car will be off the road
for a while now so im going to start tidying it up a bit.ive got the old m20 out of my last e21 still hanging
about so thought id give it a clean up and swap it in with my manual box when i can.ive never rebuilt an engine
before so fingers crossed it will work.

Havnt updated this thread for ages, ive been busy with work and building up and then stripping down my other 323.

The gold one is still serving as my daily driver and is a little worse for ware now hopefully this will be the last winter

before it gets some care. the diffs whining at 50 one of the handbrake cables is snapped and the paint has started to

come off the roof the bonnet and the boot lid. But its never let me down always starts and still feels great to drive.

i have a few pics from the last year so thought id put them up.

When the weather was nicer i replaced the struts and shocks for the ones off my project car.

Theyre nice stiff bilsteins, b4 or b6 and kept my apex -40 springs.

the car drives very nicely now, nice and firm
