Today i took the rear suspension out to give it a good clean and finally check the bottom of the car.... Found good things... And some bery bad things... Ill let the pictures do the talking.....







I went at it with a wire brush and some degreaser to get all the gunk off....





frame has alittle rust on it but nothing major.

Give the rear frame a good knocking over with a hammer to see if there are any holes. If not, you could send the entire frame to media blasting, then paint it. Bushes will be just as worn as the rest propably so this would be a thing i´d take a closer look at.

ok so. had a proper look, and its nowhere near as bad as i initially thought. as the summer arrives i will take it off... have it blasted and then paint the frame. however... to pass my MOT i am in need of a reverse light switch.... anyone got a spare?

really? i thought that would be a fail of some sort. i might just go to my local mot garage tomorrow and just ask them and see what they say.

Just figured out that the passanger side jacking point has cracked through the floor so that will be sorted too.
