went to meet mobster waited 15min but he didn't show

Unfortunately harleytrike is only telling part of the story here and once again I find myself being drawn into a petulant debate.
He text me today asking to meet at a macdonalds car park which is 30 miles from my house. I replied by saying he can pay me by bank transfer and I will send the caps in the post. He then claims he does not do bank transfers. I then ask him to do a paypal payment but he then claims that since his paypal account was hacked, he no longer uses paypal. I then ask him to go into a bank and pay cash into my bank. He refuses to do this and states that he is only prepared to meet for the refund. I ask him to meet me nearer my house as this was his mistake so why should I have to make the journey 30 miles away. He refuses to meet me nearer my house.
I then PM'd jeroen at 17:20 to ask for advice. He stated that to put this matter to bed I should make the trip.
I text him at 17:46 saying I can meet him there in 30 mins - no reply
I text him again at 17:53 - no reply
I call him at 18:04 and he says that his van is being repaired and he will let me know when he is going to leave.
He text me at 19:11 telling me he is leaving in 10 minutes and asks what car will I be in
I reply at 19:20 telling him the car and asking if he has left- no reply
I call him at 19:24 - no answer
I text him again at 19:26 - no reply
I text him again at 19:30 - no reply
I text him at 19:32 - no reply
I call at 19:32 - he answers and tell me he is leaving in 5 minutes
I text him 19:35 telling him that I am fasting and I will not make it back in time to break my fast now as he has left it so late and can we agree to meet tomorrow.
I get a reply at 22:11 saying he was on his bike and did not answer or reply. I told him I text him back immediately after he told me he is leaving. He told me he waited 15 mins and left. I asked him why he didn't call me when he was at the meeting point, he replied he had a bad signal.

This was the version of today's saga. All messages and phone records can be uploaded if need be.

What's interesting is that he managed to update this thread more than 1 hour before actually telling me that he waited for me and I didn't show up - you guys make your own minds up.

I told you that when i get the parts back you get the money that's why i asked to meet in person. ive sent money back to people in the past and never got the items back not saying that this would be the case but you never know i don't bother doing bank transfers anymore since my paypal account was hacked which was linked to the account i used to use for transfers. If you want proof of this then you can have it.

i don't do bank transfers anymore since i had problems with the bank refund aint a problem and is the only way i will do it

at 19.32 when you called i said i was 5min away lucky i answered then as i pulled in a layby for a johnny cash from 19.24 up until 19.32 i was riding my bike and cant really answer calls whilst riding at 19.45 i arrive at the destination and no mobster as regards to the text at 19.35 telling me to leave till tomorrow i didn't get as i was riding my bike to meet him. i did explain that i couldn't call him as i had a bad signal on ee common problem with ee i do believe.how do you work out that i updated the thread an hour before i posted my post a 23.36 the text i sent you was at 22.11 when i told you i was on my bike so i couldn't answer when you rang

I tried to put this right don't know what else to do I cant just do things when people say as I have a very busy lifestyle arrangements need to mutual I aint being told what to do by anybody.

In this one dealing I read more excuses than I used in my entire life!

On one side I hate to have this as a public discussion, on the other hand there is no reason for me to hide things. People may see what is going on and by keeping things in the open I reckon there is less room for incorrect allegations being made.

How did you close your deal, originally? Mobster send funds by bank transfer and then items being shipped by Harleytrike after receipt of funds?

At 19:45 you arrived and I was not there right.....so for a entire 10 minutes bike ride you didn't have a phone signal. I text you at 19:35 telling you not to come as I am fasting and you have left it too late for the day and can we meet tomorrow. When arriving at the meeting place that text would have already been on your phone.....so why did you wait 15 minutes if you knew I was not going to be there.

I have no problem in sending the caps to him before I receive my refund.

So if I understand correctly Harleytrike neither trusts banks, nor PayPay, nor buyers at the forum. Was not able to inform Mobster when he actually was leaving (something I would have waited for myself after all this), and he didn't have a network signal on his phone until 22.11? Didn't you guys miss a previous appointment for exchange as well?

I have 2 15" bbs caps lying here I can post to you if you want them? I don't think this is going to be resolved so if I send you my ones for free,trike guy keeps the £60 and you throw the 14's in the bin then we can leave it at that?

Indeed. Harleyteike told me he was going to be at a bike meet between 7-8. At 7.10 he text me saying the meet was cancelled.

This is a joke, I said I wouldn't get involved anymore but Matt is clearly lying, this a direct copied text from my conversation with him "Can you not do bank transfer as PayPal will charge" So he plainly does use bank transfer, if he'd said to me, my mate wants them sorry mate got go that way, I'd of been pissed bit would accepted it. I'm no angel and have had similar scenario's. Honesty is the best policy!! This is a cut and dry case of bullshit and really should not of been allowed to go this far..,

Well these statements are just what I needed to make up my mind, don't want to kick out anyone unless absolutely sure, keep in mind this only is the 3rd or 4th user to be banned in almost 15 years!

A deserved ban from the info I've gathered so herewith the ban is final and the thread will be closed.
