Sadly not, im still waiting for the welding
I have got most of the things needed now and have been enjoying driving the donor car about though.

Worth waiting for, I'm sure! No more pics from the work? Looking forward to the next update and more on the conversion.

Made a surprise visit to the bodyshop yesterday.
The welding is all done apart from a couple of little holes
and i managed to bag myself a spot for painting
Back on track with new enthusiasm

I need to start getting the m52 out realy
Will be a shame though the vert has realy grown on me and is in such good condition
ive pretty much sold the wheels so if i can find a good m52b28 for about £400
it will get a stay of execution

More borrowing from the gold car the b8s and -40 apex springs from the rear.
The ride quality when fitted was good, u can drive the car into
a corner without the rear end misbehaving too much
when i first fitted them i had them on the lowest setting and the
car was very planted. They will be getting a good clean and a lick of paint
before they go on.

pity E36 values have hit rock bottom so perfectly good cars are being taken apart as that's the cheapest way to get yourself a complete engine. Perhaps one day we will regret that just as much as all the E30's that were taken apart back in the day... or E21's for that matter!

Agree, but thats alsof the reason they will go up in value in a couple of years.

Good, so the convertible is saved, at least for now haha! Found yourself another 2.8?
