Sump guard came from Walloth & Nesch. It was far too much money to admit to, but saved a lot of effort. (almost 300 euro delivered. ouch....)

Retro, there is no mention of 4 or 6 pot versions. I dont see any reason why it shouldn't fit either type.

Bit rich for my pockets but certainly a nice bit of kit. Sure to save you lots of sump batterings though Mark.
Look what I found.....

Popped into the scrap merchant on the way home today. Found some tube for an exhaust.
There was a big pile of the stuff. I took as much as I could carry! 316 grade stainless tube 16swg 2" dia. Should be able to fabricate something to go around the axle from this lot. Cost? £2 a kilo.

You could probably fashion yourself some sort of musical instrument with the leftovers!

Car went on the rollers this week. Not the best pictures I'm afraid, taken on my phone. Trying to sort the Webers out. More work needed. Ouch...
The guy looks after a few BMWs by the look of it. 4 CSLs in the workshop.

I think he said this one was a genuine Alpina race car
This one was a Schnitzer car.
Not a patch on a well sorted E21 though.............
