So, we finally got the engine running.

The ignition controller was broken (we think), as was the trigger on the side of the dizzy. A mad dash to Manchester saw us picking up parts (kindly, thanks very much guys!) from Eddie and Mr Edd for testing.

Now we just need to finish the exhaust and get an alignment done and she'll be ready for the road. I might drive her until the end of the month when the tax runs out and then garage until next year and save some pennies for a few minor bodywork fixes and a vinyl wrap. Potato quality vid here, but you get the idea;

The engine sounds great, (for an engine that has only got half an exhaust that rattles), but hopefully you get the idea.

Alignment done and exhaust fitted. DONE! I drove her home last night and she was perfect.

A huge thank you again to Nas and Dom who did far more on this than I ever could have asked or expected. Two top blokes.

I spent today with a clay bar and some expensive polish making her look presentable again. Pics to follow tomorrow!
