and if someone wants to do a M30 swap, which motor mounts have to use? except Alpina ones.
Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car. Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far you take the wall with you.

I am told E28 535i ones are better than E34 535i since they give a bit more under sump room for low bumps etc

Sure you can, but unfortunatelly I have no special connections in terms of BMW parts avaliability. If something is avaliable in BMW AG every BMW Dealer in the world can get you this.

Ovcourse I can get some discount but if you calculate shiping costs it will probably be the same.

Send me part numbers you're interested in and I will check the prices here in Poland.

Thinking of what color to put on the Alpina, and now I am very close to this. I have never seen it in real life and can not find any photos of an E21 in that color.

At least Zypress green is an original E21 color, Achatgreen never was available on E21's, that might be a consideration. Or perhaps use Alpina green, used for the E24 B7s? There's one in this color not too far from here...

There was 84 ( or if they delivered it in 83/84) 315 made with Achatgrün. The color is on the configurator on E21-board.de http://www.e21-board.de/wbb//farbtabelle/metallic.html

But you know my german knowledge. Understand what I want to understand. ;-)

won't the rare alpina lose provenance if you change the colour? the standard colour is one of the best the e21 comes imo.
