dear Mark
I am so sorry to learn of your news- this sort of thing afflicts all of us classic car nuts at some time or other- not that this is any consolation to you right now
been off air in South Africa- where I was banned from the site as .co.za wifi is banned from E21site! Now stuck in Zurich as Swiss Air plane broke down!
I see that you have taken to listing your cars under your adress- very helpful ! And I love that model E21
Still hoping you can make the Manx Classic in MIB?
regards

I thought I was seeing things!
It was just a one-off I'm afraid. Would it be sad if I put the TWR's reg number on it?
Defo want to get across for the Manx if its at all possible.

I have a 635CSi with a damaged door mirror in my unit, looked under the bonnet and it looks to have an S88 from the look of the intakes. Will bring it home sometime and check it out properly!

Talked things through with Mick yesterday and work is finally going to start on getting the car where it should be. All the final parts, like number plates, badges etc have arrived and the dizzy has gone off to be rebuilt and recalibrated to cope with the new cam, head & carbs.
I'm hoping we may even be able to be ready for Gaydon!

Any progress then Mark?
Hope ya ears werent burnin at weekend but we was talking about the bloke that was doing the TWR before. Seems hes well known for being a piss taker when it comes ta dedlines and stuff. Seems he's full of shite and promises the world but dont deliver. Anyway I got the guys number if you want it? He said he 'll do what he can to help you out, The good thing is the old BMW world is pretty small and dodgy blokes like that get found out in the end.
