I am also drooling to tell you the truth, as car now is again at the mechanic and I am again not driving it, he has to finish a couple jobs still left, but I hope this time I will have it ready this week.
Jobs left to do (he did not finish them as he left again for a rally) :
1) Rear quarter windows (removal of old rubbers, replacement by new ones, replacement of opening and closing handles screws etc)
2) New steering wheel (Alpina momo 4 spoke from Walloth und Nesch-oh you are going to see some photos here for sure)
3)Now this one is an interesting technical small issue: It seems that the hot spark ignition system is on its way out and good old points are on their way in again. Anyway the ignition is powered by the msd now, so the distributor is just used for command, which means that the hot spark makes no difference theoretically. Now some stalling issues at high speeds especially, make us think that something is not working perfectly, probably with the hot spark. So we decided to see what will happen if we put again the points. Might be there is some conflict between msd and hot spark? Anyway before the msd, the hot spark served me nicely (not meaning that the points did not)...
