Thanks guys, the sunroof seal came today so thats one more thing to tick off the list

Is that the seal around the roofpanel? From the dealers?

found a nice hardtop for the survivor
and even better put a new cambelt on my 1991 e36 1.8 after the old one snapped
and it fired right up no damage

the poor thing has sat there for nearly 2 years waiting to be fixed
the only thing wrong with it is the clutch cylinders have gone

Update time.
Things are moving along now, the windscreen surround has been replaced.
The new wiper hole cut out and the extra one welded up



The sunroof has gone.





Then it was primer





Ive got a new job working nights so i havent had time to do anything on the e21.
It wont be long till i get it back now and i can start putting it all together.

Some great progress, thanks for the update. When are you planning to have the outside painted?

Hopefully within the next two weeks. Theyre going to sand and reprime where needed and then start the colour
