Problem seems to be bad battery, according to my electrician...
(?????It is a new VARTA 60Ah, last one was -Varta I think again-55Ah...and no problem at all)
Anyway, today taking the car on a quite long journeyfor the weekend-about 4+ hours, haven't done this for 10 years or more!!!
Owning newer cars as well, I have, recently, been thinking, every time, that I should not do so many Km on the BM, as I want to keep her in good condition...And what is more, newer cars are more comfy, powerful, safe etc...However, this way I was not enjoying my beloved car
So took the decision, and today everything's ready !!!
(hoping no surprises from the battery)

I think so, I am not sure though
I saw once a Recaro sticker that had fallen on the car's floor (probably from the seats bottom) and it was writing something like that (Recaro, Ford sierra seats, so, I assumed that...)

Just back after about ~800 km, more than half of which in nice country snake roads, almost empty from other cars!!!Was driving with a smile on my face, although the car started once again, for more than 500 km the same recent problem of a blown off relay (?)... : 3 gauges not working (water temp, petrol and RPM), electric mirrors dead (probably are connected on the same line-but who cares about that), and most of all, no idle!!!!
So, had to stop almost every 250 km to fill the car up-just to be on the safe side, as the gauge was not working in order to check, and stoping the car or moving in rarkings, or trying to drive slowly between cars etc. was a tragedy (every 30 seconds turning the key again and again...)
However, and despite the problems of not having A/C (Absolutely needed in Greece) my little BM is just LOVELY!!!!
After the summer, I 'll restart taking her to trips, I promise that!

Well,
I have to state that i have fallen in love with your car ... i like every single part of it .... i should admit that i wanted sometimes to sell my car ... because of the spare parts issue ... but after looking to you car & other members cars .... i`m not gonna sell mine .... please keep your car nice & clean as it is

Thanks!!
I also Love driving it! Even though its engine is small and not powerful!
It gives me hapiness especially on mountain snake roads!
So I am never going to give it away! For th time being, spare parts are going rare also here in Greece, but still can be found...Also the web helps very much...
I have to say that I pay a lot to maintain it in such condition (almost everything as new) but this pays back in smiles!!!!!
(And the big smile will come when I replace the engine

)

Don't think I need that much...
I am in between an M10 318i (something like just +15hp) and an M20B25 (171hp-not bad for me!!)
will have to think about all options though...
