Hmmmmm looks aren't too great imho but I see some similarities with the Faigel E21 touring versions
BTW ran into a pic of an official BMW E21 touring prototype recently but I can't remember where

but ok here's the Faigel version

Peter,
Initially, BMW dealers Faigel built three E21 touring prototypes. One was crashed in the late 70's, two survived for a long time, the two on the photos. The one on the right, the dark blue example, ended up at the wreckers after a crash in 1995 and was crushed before E21 fanatics got to it. Meaning one is left, the beige one on the right. It is supposed to be restored in the early 2000's and still in posession with the Faigel family. It seems hard to get them on the phone and the car wasn't spotted anymore either. The Faigel family sold their dealership.

That would be a special ownership if it ever is for sale then.
