Yes i know, thats why i wanted these second generation mirrors in the first place.
"Blind spot" is the right word for "dode hoek".
These mirrors are used on the E28 and E30 as wel, so after market parts are no problem, only the heatet one's are more difficult to get.

Mirrors are on the car now and working properly, and it's almost first of march.

i think most of you will hate the looks but i don't care

next are a set of big driving lights.

Love this car, and i love the theme. Very much like the old rally cars, those did not have any special paintjob either.

For retro stickers i can recommend www.isaydingdong.co.uk they are masters regarding retro stickers and they have them all (really!). I bought my old original BMW Motorsport roundels there

So finaly the extra set driving lights are mounted.

They are HELLA 3000 replica's with HELLA3000 covers.
Fitment is spot on, not more as 8mm free space at the rear and between the bonnet when opened.

I've made a brace behind the grill which give some extra support to the lights.
