Sandblasting engine bay, only spot blasting where I found rust.

And some rust primer, to prevent rusting before painting.

Yeah, not much rust in the engine bay, just minor spots here and there.
It´s a pretty good car, there are rust, but less than expected for a car that is soon 50 years old.

Continue with the rust work. Make a metal sheet to close the old fuel line hole, and making a metal sheet for the floor rust, abit more work, but just need to take it slow and it will fit perfect.
I painted rust primer on the ignition module bracket, so it will be welded in, when the rest is going to be welded.

It looks like bad fit, but the angle of the pictures is lying, it´s actually better :-)

Test fitted the radiator, had to make new hole for the rubber bushing, since this radiator is bolted on top, not side like the M10 radiator.

My friend welded the holes, from the fuel pump and pressure regulator used to feed the Fajs carbs.
And I managed to hurt my back, so at the moment I´m down, not much happening this week, my doctor forbid me to go to work, he said I need to take it easy this week :(

I hope I don´t need a new surgery, just did a back surgery in October last year. And all was looking bright, but not anymore....

Oops, pushed it too far? Fingers crossed you'll be ok without further surgery!

I did a bad choice at work, and manage to overload my back. I hope it will sort out itself during this week, but it´s not looking too promising.

They are Fajs carburettors, size 45, but I’ve reserved them, a friend of mine want them.

45 is top large for regular standard engine. My engine had bad performance under 2000 rpm, but worked ok above that. But not sure how much more performance they give compared to stock carb.
