I've got the dual exhaust pretty well completed, and since the exhaust is quiet, discovered the amount of wind noise that removing the door rubbers was letting in.

I've decided the loss of aerodynamics outweighs the weight of the door rubbers; so I've consequently reinstalled both door and boot rubbers.

The front left wheel has been contacting the BBS front spoiler at the edge; tonight I've removed the front bumper to fabricate proper front/central mounts for it as I feel it might be pinching the bumper at the sides and partly to blame for the contact. Time will tell; either way - the front bumper mount needed to be resolved anyway.

By the time your existing rotors look like that the calipers were up for an overhaul decades ago lol! Redo the 4 pots and compared to the seized old rubbish it will make a huge difference indeed!

Ha, that would explain why the braking has been so bad until now anyway! They did seem to get better once I ran through a re-bedding (as the car had sat for so many years without being driven) - if I was going to keep the factory gear I'd get the rotors machined and new pads/rebuild the calipers but instead once I've got it all fitted up I will be able to buy any aftermarket slotted/drilled rotors that suit a commodore and simply re-drill.
