For those of you in the UK or who can get your hands on a copy....
This months Performance BMW magazine has a spread on s14 engine cars. The photo shoot took place at Bruntingthorpe circuit here in the UK. The cars used were:
E30 M3 (standard)
E30 M3 (race modified to 260bhp)
E30 320is (standard)
E30 320is (race modified)
The cars were compared and the standard E30 320is had an excellent write up. Finally the car has gotten some well deserved recognition.
I myself have a 320is that is currently being rebuilt. (Yes Jeroen, it is still in production!!!) I have just managed to get my hands on a full Leather E30 M3 interior this week at a very cheap price. Also included: Short shift, powerflex eccentric bushes, eibach springs, bilstein shock, all new water and oil hoses, new ignition leads/disi cap/rotor arm. All I need now is a front and rear strut brace and I'll be set for 6 months of fun driving.
Once I get some pics sorted (of the finished project) I will post them for your views. Hopefully it will be back on the road by the end of March as I will definitely need it for May because I am off to the Nurburgring to watch the 24hr race this year again. Can't wait!!!!
