Guys
The 320is is in Belgium. We went to pick up my friends 32Ois in Italy yesterday.
We drove 1370km and she didn't misfire once.
It was a very nice trip ... the engine turns a little boxy under 1500rpm but once you pass that its really flying.
I'll keep you posted on how homologation comes together but for now some pics from on the road.
Where we picked it up.
2nd one
On the road
the heart
The only thing it needs for now is a new right front wing (some damage on this one.)
Oh and for those who are planning the same make sure you get proper transitplates like we did because whe where stopped in Austria but everything was OK.
Regards
Gerrit

OK well maybe contact Johan then (Jo D), maybe he has a few suggestions to make things easier and above all... speed things up!

If yours were black, we could switch front side panels, mine has a dent on the other side. Well, but then you would drive with two dented panels
Great looking car, love the original wheels and the 'is' sign on the back (removed on mine). You have a truly special car now.
Remember, when you're replying the customs-form: it didn't enter the country under its own steam. The only reason they ask this question is to already make you pay tax.
If the car is on it's original suspension, there should be no problem in homologation

you were "lucky" to get pulled over in Austria and not in Belgium as those german transit plates only offer insurance coverage in germany, austria and italy, but I bet you knew that from the last time I posted that

How much did you pay for those german plates to have them sent to you in Belgium?

We picked them up by the dealer in the Netherlands
