Hey all
I have just purchased myself 3 E21's, a 323i and two 318i's with the intention of restoring the 323i as it is fairly shabby, but not too far gone i hope!
Anyway im new to the forum and thought it would be a good idea to upload some photos and see what the E21 communitys thoughts are!
Heres my 323i

Welcome to another white Tasmanian Devil... and his car  Thanks for an intro with a lot of pics!

I see it has A/C or well, at least with the interior fan from the AC version as I didn't spot any other AC parts. And a 3 year old started pulling all cables under the dash? The glovebox swimming pool is a known issue. Anyway, you have some work lined up but that's not so much of a problem. As rust is your biggest issue I'd pull out the carpet, give the floor a thorough check as well as the inner fenders, establish how much rust is on the entire car and based on that, decide if the car is worth a project.

Keep us posted!

Another White E21 surfaces.Jeez, they're like London buses. You wait ages for one then three or four turn up at once.

A good wash and it will look loads better.

Yell out if there are any standard bits you are missing; I've removed (and still have) a bunch of trim pieces, accessories etc from mine (www.e21build.com)- I'm in Australia too.

Thanks for all the replies guys!
I don't think I've made enough progress to post more with the 323i as of yet, however my 318i's are all parted out and the shells are getting picked up within the week :shake
Haha I haven't seen any red backs in the 323i, however I did see one in my white 318i yesterday!
:hammer he got the squish treatment.
Oh and I have a clay bar in my garage! I forgot all about it, cheers mate :)
