Great news to share. I finally picked up a very nice 316 thanks to luke . The car is great and had alot of work put into it by luke. Drove 260 miles home and it didnt miss a beat. Amazing car. Good to be back on the classic bmw scene officially since selling my e30.

Alot more work will be done to the car over the next 6 months starting with dechroming (some of you may hate me for this) and ridding the car of its minor rust.

Welcome to the club! I live in North London so will be on the look out for you. I also have an E30 too, I expect it would be hard to say goodbye to such a well performing car, although the E21 does have a lot more character and rarity.
Let me know if you need use of tools or a hand.

Its a great car. At the moment. Just cleaning things up. Going to have to have some body work done as soon as i can afford it.

Yup. Its on my list of things to do. First got to do the main work. And bit by bit dechrome it.

Seeing as the protective metal panel infront of the fan blower was off. I saw it was in badish shape. So thought why not use up old primer and paint and started to give it a do over.

Haha. If the fan didnt have electrics i woould have dipped it in a bucket of wd40.

Heres the finished look. Thought id use up the matte black i had sitting around.
