Its been over five and a half years since I bought my 320/6 and its been in storage for a few of those until earlier this year when I decided to resurrect it and give it a well deserved once over.
In the last couple of weeks ive fitted new fully reconditioned calipers and new pads on front, checked and adjusted rear brakes and flushed new fluid through the system
oil/filter change, coolant flush and refill and replaced all coolant hose clips with new,
Finally fitted the set of fully refurbed fondmetal alloys which I bought a few years back,
The refresh work is ongoing but she is running sweet and looking pretty good I think, here are a few pics for you to judge for yourselves, comments welcome :thumbsup

Car looks wonderful indeed, including the wheels, nice update with some sweet pics!

I fitted the R1R's on my E30 and I'm more than happy with them. Very grippy in the dry but not as bad as you'd expect in the rain either, doing rather well indeed. On last year's Eifel drive we had nothing but rain and the car did fine! If you have an engine with more torque the car may get somewhat tail happy perhaps, but I had close to no under- or oversteer in the rain, only when pushing. The only setback for R1R's is wear because of the very soft compound but you get a wonderful deal of grip in return. Almost as good as R888's in the dry, but a lot better in the wet.

Nice, light blue paint and black centres to the wheels give it a really classy look. Dig the numberplate too - is it legal though?

Thanks for the compliments Jeroen, and your review on the R1R's,yes I did a lot of searching through reviews online when I was trying to decide which tires to choose.
And with the R1R'S those who run them seem to be consistently happy with them!
The tyres, brakes and handling are where I want to improve the car,now need to upgrade the tired shock absorbers, ill be retaining the ride height as it is and most likely fit bilstein b6 dampers front and rear.
Your e30 is a very nice looking example, which engine size is it 318i... 325i ?

Thanks Arshad,Yes the numberplates are the legal requirement here in south of Ireland.White plates front and rear with the blue euro symbol, the font and size of the lettering is correct too.

My car was a uk car originally,i would love to find some history of it when it was uk owned, two owners I think from new.
I wonder if anyone here knows anything about its history or would recognise it!
The uk registration was FOT 562X. :thumbsup

Plan for the dampers sounds good! That will already improve the ride indeed. BTW my E30 is an Italian 320iS.

Of the E30 M3, 16.202 examples were produced. Because the 320iS was only limited to the Portugese and Italian market, production figures are relatively low even though these cars were pretty popular over there. A production total of 3.746 cars, 2540 2 doors and 1206 4 doors.

Well there's a new one to me,initially when I saw the pic of your car I thought that the 320is only came in coupe form,so what you have is very rare indeed being a 4 door version! very cool! 8)

And for the 4 doors version, the M Tech 2 bodykit was optional. I like mine without it though, lovely stealth looks.

Anyway, far too much off topic already, back to your wonderful 320/6! Got more pics? :takepicture
