I see why you might want to replace the cotton reel sized wheels!

A bit behind on the forum, trying to catch up and I find this sweet example... with some added grunt! Lovely car that definitely calls for more pictures, or similar video's haha! Welcome here by the way!

That is what I want mine to become engine wise, although I'm thinking of going the supercharger route. You say it's a stock engine with modified pistons, is it still a 2 litre or what has been done to it. I'd love to get something in depth about the mods to it as I have not seen anyone do the stock motor up, everyone seems to be doing swaps. I'm guessing you're using injection, again different to my goals but cool. Amazing car, really eager to see more!

Hi everybody !!

this week i'm not working so will take some pics when possible (i'm ill ), if you want some details pics tell me.

About the engine, i didn't modified the stock one, it's a 2.5L and electrical engine too, it's from a mk2 e30 because we can't fit the sensors on e21 gearbox so the problem is solved with mk2 witch have the sensor on the crankshaft

you can see what arrived to the pistons here
Image

the clutch is stage 3, 320/6 E21 flywheel (lighter)

Nice work, hope you get well soon though!

I was wondering something and perhaps you can share your thoughts on this: we have members from all across the globe here, from Japan to the US, from Uruguay to Norway. However, we don't have too many French speaking members. But in our global approach we would like this to be a website that is a fun place for all.

Even though we are not planning on having separate sections for every possible language, it appears that in this case language may be a obstacle. Would it be helpful to add a French section, or at least a French topic? Any alternative suggestions perhaps?

pardon my french

I have a lot of customers from France, they usually speak english or can use google translate. But to make this E21 community readable for everyone, I believe english is the solution.

Fully agree, and that's also what I communicate on the Dutch forum as often as possible, anything that can be of use to a larger audience, keep in in the English topic.

But, if there's something we can do to increase our audience, make it more accessible, I'm open to that. But the English forum remains THE forum

It might be an idea if we can translate e21 specific parts into French, or possibly list some forum members that can help with translation, for new members that can't speak English?
