Thing is for me it doesn't quite work somehow= looks like a bloated version of the original like the new Mini of the old

Hmmm tough one. Lines are great, but it's a too modern version of a brilliant original. Think I'd rather park the original DB5 and a Wiesmann in my garage then... keep on dreaming!

Agreed - I also think to tie the front end more into the current product line (and make it slightly less new mini) I'd have shaped the grille like the modern Astons.
