The interior is pacific blue its in good condition for the age of the car, no rips or tears, the head lining could do with some tlc. someone told me its easy to change for a new one, but when I was taking the one out from the donor car it just ripped and broke. ill take some interior pictures tomorrow.

I am selling some things which I definitely know I am not going to be using for mine, like the seats, I still have lots of things to sort through but as soon as I have it all sorted then yes every spare part will be up for grabs.

So the donor car has all been stripped and gone. The real (expensive) work is starting to begin.
Firstly stripping it back to see what needs repairing. so we checked the usual suspects, boot floor had plates welded over these holes. just a quick fix job really so the plates have been grinded off.
next up was the sills. Drivers side was surprisingly clean.

I noticed that the kick plate is missing along with the holes so I think this sill has already been replaced before.
passenger side
Im guessing the welding on the sill was done the same time as the boot. I got 2 new sills so they will both be replaced once the boot is done.
the replacement boot floor getting prepped for the towing hook to be refitted.

just a quick update....
The drain holes have been replaced with the ones that got cut out from the other car. A bit of a tedious job as we decided to do some of the welding ourselves to keep the costs down, we got a gasless mig welder but we should have got the gas one as the metal keeps buckling with the heat and the weld doesn't come up as nice as it does with a gas welder. So my dad tells me,
But after some welding, grinding, re welding, manipulation and grinding, we kind of got it looking like it should.
here we are in the process of getting the spare wheel section done.
As you can see this still needs re welding, and we lost some of the shape where the plate got welded in for the rear hook, I think we are going to have another go to try and get the curve as original as possible, or ask the garage to do it when it goes in for spray. Also the plug hole has some rust but the plan is to weld the plug in place.
again, there was a small hole in this area, also where the metal is so thin it makes it difficult to weld and try not to burn through. also trying not to disturb the metal where the ridges are trying to keep the shape and look original.
next we have these 2 areas left to weld in the boot. I really cant wait until the welding is finished. We haven't even taken out the carpets yet. only god knows what lies underneath.
