I didn't expect to be able to find that out so easily but after watching some slomo I got the name of a local business called Vermetten. Used Google Streetview to check for their location and yes that's the place: Bisschop de Vetplein, 5126 CA Gilze (in the south of Holland). Didn't see any damages anymore but not that surprising, I think it was well over 10 years ago when I first saw this video.

Indeed this was in Gilze.(i live only a couple of miles away from it). I know it was a realistic thing and no special effect.

I found it pretty awesome I was able to find that location pretty quickly, long live all our apps and internet! Do you know more about these guys Peter? Surely this was planned with the camera rolling and all, but I'm curious about the guys behind it. On the other hand, so may be the police haha

I am not sure about the real story but it was planned by those guys and the village was not closed so they took a big risc.

Indeed, and I still love that video, even though they took a lot of risk I guess these guys must have had great fun and still remember that moment with an ear to ear smile!
