Hi.
First post in this forum.
Sharing some pics of my 81 323i. Had the car for two years now,and some upgrades has been done.
When i bought it it was all original with 118000 km on it.
First thing to do was to get i a little lower to the ground and a new set of wheels.
I got my hands on a set of BBS Rms that i restored.
Drove it like this the first season.
I found a little bit of rust between the front wing and the front panel and some in the engine bay. Teared it down, and changed the wing and the front and got the engine bay resprayed. Put in the yellow headlights as well.
Ready for a new summer.
In the end of the season i traded my BBS Wheels for at set of original Alpinas. Looking good!
Now it in the garage for the winter.

Thanks guys.
The car has been in Norway for 3 years now. One owner here before me.
The first owner bought it in BMW Park Lane London on export, with the steering wheel on the left side, since he had a summer house in France. Suits me perfect!
I have all documentation on the car from it was new until today. From the letters to the dealer when he was going to buy it,to maintence receipts.
First owner had it until 2003. The guy i bought it from picked it up in Mallorca Spain at a car collector, still on UK export plates. Five owners in total included me.

Great!! Nice to see: ordering a brand new BMW, equivalent to today's 335i of perhaps M3, and then paying bij cheque!

A couple of early christmas presents came in the other day. Original BMW motorsport boot spoiler and a boot lid.
They both needed some work to look good, so i have fixed the dents in the lid and drilled the holes for the spoiler. Now i am waiting for the paintshop to get it ready for me.

Why the other bootlid? So you can save the original one? Will the spoiler be painted aswell? Will be looking nice anyway.

Yes,i want to save the original bootlid.
Its back from the paint shop and its looking good.
The spoiler had a lot of damages, cracks, holes, one piece of the corner was missing and the surface was flaking.
I repared it all with glazing sealant, sanded it down and painted it with Plasti Dip.
I think it turned out great.

Yup, that stuff rules, great result! Think I'll cover my wheels with black PlastiDip as well, they're that color all the time anyway
