Spent the day wandering around the new Isle of Man Motor Museum with the owner as an invitation was made to all Members of Classic Car clubs IOM
What a place!

I (like many) thought that the whole deal was a bit of a pipedream but now having seen the place met the owner and the managers AND having seen the Hanger full of desirable a amzing classic cars
this is going to be HUGE
trying to remember the cars in the hanger
An ultra rare Monica with an ex F1 3 litre V8 designed by Tommy xxx (sorry didn't bring a pen!)- and suspension by Chris Laurence (Morgan) a Murena

got to be the most beautiful useful car ever made?..........
Lots of Humbers but of course one was the only one built with a V8 for the boss of Chrysler
cars here;
http://www.cunninghamclassiccars.co.uk/year/1960s/
One off E34 M5 Touring- the only rhd car made by BMW importer
V16 caddy
DeSotos
Intl Harvester Scout seating 16
Lagonda
Of course knowing I love Jeeps he showed me his Willys- an 8 wheel drive 1950 US Army special with a Corvette engine in the rear!
WOW!
And to think next door is the lovely racetrack we have
Herman was brought out of winter hibernation for the run
this place opne in May hopefully- and seems detined to become a Mecca for all things mechanical on IoM
he is building a business park for anyone who builds Motorbike racing specials- the motorbike display area is above the cars and runs the whole length of the place
what a vision what a lovely guy
