Can a turbo be measured for overboosting whilst it is on a vehicle , I suspect that a refurbed turbo I have recently fitted to a light truck with a 3.0 nissan diesel engine may overboosting.

Turbo company say take it off and bring it back to bench test but the labour involved dismantling the whole front of the truck just to get at the turbo is a pain .

I am in London but can travel within say 50 miles in any direction if anyone knows anyone any good .

if you can get hold of a boost gauge you can check that way.
i know what u mean about where the turbo is on the nissan my mate rebuilt one once.
the abs was broken on his so you could stamp on the brake and get the rear wheels off the floor
