I will first show you pics of the car how i bought it. Later I will add pics of the evolution off the car till the result like it is now.

Great car! But why did you loose the yellow headlights?

@ Ite: Arnold did have those Alpina stripes made by a friend. If you ever find a decent M535i, he can help you for sure. But original is more desirable.

You can still buy a repro:

Original BMW is not for sale any more, only M-technik, but that is not the same.

Nope, sold a few years ago...
They are not so expensive at the dealer, a few years ago for 120euro for 4 yellow beams.

Shortly afther i bought is the engine broke down. So I put another one in it (also M90)with reconditionned head, compression was 11.5-12bar on all cylinders. I changed all the seal of it and made it more presentable. Now I am looking for parts to rebuild the original one.
And because the engine had to come out I took the change to respray the whole car.

Toke out the doors for the job and found an original M535i e12 rubbers spoiler on ebay.

One day..

You've done a good job.
Funny to see that all bmws from that building time do have the exact building structure.
Evenso the early e23s are basicly the same.
