After a tip on the Dutch E23 forum about this E12 subforum on the E21 forum I decided to make a account also.

This is mine E12 525.

Kashmir metallic outside
Farn Grün inside
Brown tinted glas
5-speed
sport steering wheel
Head rests in the back
3 point harness in the back
14" alloy's
NOS hartge front spoiler (mounted on the picture but has to be painted)
factory fog lights (not mounted at the moment because of the front spoiler)
central locking
Left and right outside chrome mirror.

The car is an orignal Belgium car. Which had the valvoline tectyl threatment from the dealership when it was sold.
it's build in april 1979. I want to keep it as original as possible with some eigthies tuning like the M badges and the Hartge spoiler.

Here some earlier pictures from a foto shoot for a local news paper. Now there are some changes on te car like sportsteering wheel etc etc.








Car had an original 4 speaker stereo setup and bavaria radio. Radio is still with the car but replaced with a some what modern type. It's from the late eighties so not that disturbing.
Also we fitted powersteering to the car. It steers a lot heavier than my mustang which has no powersteering ??

I thought you and your brother were busy building a m535i Replica but maybe i'm wrong!

that's correct RobK me and my brother are building a replica M535i. But also we are busy met reproducing parts. Like M535i Decal set.
Alpina, Harte, Zender frontspoilers also the M535i front spoiler. Rear M535i ductale spoiler and al lot more.

It's a slow proces and we build just a few hours a week and customer cars always come first

Very nice 525, welcome here Peter, looks like the E12 sub is growing fast.
The BMW's have heavy positive Caster, this is the effect: "While greater caster angles serve to improve straight-line stability, they also cause an increase in steering effort"

What color code has the 520-6 in the background? is it fjord metallic?

Thnx for the explenation. about the caster. A 1965 mustang has a caster of zero. So this is explained

the bleu 520-6 is a car we sold earlier but is now completely restored. But the color is 140 biskayablau
