Say what? All your projects that are off topic, like trailers, other car projects, tooling, lathes, anything! Show us what you've created besides your E21!

General mechanical projects, i think this one fits in quit well. The project involved all kinds mechanical skills.

So i'll start showing you my project which finished almost ten years ago.
Most petrolheads will hate it, because it's a caravan, but not a normal one, as you'll see.

It all started with this rotten but rare Eriba Titan, which i bought for peanuts in 2004, the caravan wasn't watertight anymore and was home for mama Garfield and her kittens, so imagine the smell inside and multiply that.

i'have dismantled the caravan to the bone and then repaired his skeleton which was rotten also.
The Titan became about 30% new tubing welded in his skeleton and i altered the front. So the front would be a little more aerodynamic.

After that the Titan became a new insulated sandwich floor, and a new aluminium skin out of 0.8mm sheet. The aluminium sheets are riveted together with aluminium solid rivets lika a Airstream. (not the blind rivets !)

The whole interior is refurbished and the upholstery was all new done. The whole project took about 1.5 years and in 2006 we made the first holidays with our Eriba Titan.

Check my website for the extended story: http://www.eriba-titan.nl/ which is party translated and has lots of photos.

So time for some photos:

And last year a french campsite honoured us by using the Eriba Titan in their flyer and website, photo was taken in 2014, but we didn't know that.
Last year when we visited this campsite again we discovered it.
