For the 4th year in a row the E21 community went to the Eifel, Moselle and Nurburgring region to meet up, socialize, catch up, eat, drink and of course do a lot of driving on the wonderful roads in the meantime enjoying the surroundings. It was great fun to share the hotel with the people from BMW Motorsport who were there for the DTM race at the Ring. They were pretty amazed to see the BMW line up when they arrived at the hotel haha!

Most arrived on Thursday, some on Friday. Friday and Saturday were our driving days and in groups of about 6 cars each we had great fun in the hills. Of course the majority of the cars were E21's but there was more, E30, E34 M5, E36 M3, not bad at all and the weather was favorable as well. Each day could be ended with beers on the terrace at around 4pm, dinner and more beers. Issues... hardly! Walter's car needed to have one of the brake pad clips surgically removed, one shock absorber cover was rubbing Odo's rear wheel and Jan Willem's car needed to readjustments before he could drive back all the way to Sweden(!!). Not bad for 22 old cars being pushed hard for a couple of days! Traditionally we ended the weekend at the Ring.

All 'n all we had great fun and tooo many laughs! Will start off with some of my photos and some others, more from me later!

Fantastic weekend full of driving pleasure and friendship

In case the non Dutch-speaking are interested, next edition will take place Fr Sep 30 and Sat Oct 1, 2016 followed by a visit to the Spa track on Sun.

Oh man, I can't wait!!!
